Refund Policy

This policy explains the refund window, request process, and payment handling for VPNUrban subscriptions. Before applying, check your order and payment history in the user dashboard. Refund discussions are based on the order details and handling records in the relevant support ticket.

Refund Window and Eligibility

You can request a full refund for any reason within 7 days of your first payment. You don’t need to explain why you no longer want the service, and troubleshooting your connection isn’t a prerequisite. Eligibility is determined by comparing the first payment’s completion time with the time you submit your refund request.

Submit a clear refund request through a support ticket within the refund window. If you’ve submitted your request and it’s still being reviewed, the submission time determines eligibility; processing that continues beyond the window won’t change this. A general support inquiry doesn’t count as a refund request, so state clearly in your ticket that you’re requesting a refund.

This guarantee applies to your first payment. Renewals, duplicate payments, upgrades, and subsequent data add-on orders are assessed separately based on the nature of each transaction; the refund window does not restart with every order. Data add-ons never expire, but that refers to data validity and does not extend the refund request period indefinitely.

Eligible Situations and Unusual Orders

Requests made within the refund window due to connection quality, device usage preferences, or changes in personal circumstances are covered by the guarantee above. Normal connection or data usage does not mean you have to explain why you’re requesting a refund.

The no-questions-asked full refund process does not apply to requests submitted after the refund window, orders that have already been refunded, or orders that were never successfully paid. You can still submit a ticket to investigate payment issues such as an incorrect payment status or duplicate charge; these are separate from refunds based on service experience.

If records show data usage beyond your plan allowance, suspected misuse, or a dispute over account ownership, we’ll need to verify the details against the order and usage records. A review of an unusual order does not automatically mean a refund will be denied, and no unannounced data deduction rate applies. If a decision is affected by the Terms of Service, the ticket will explain the specific basis and review findings.

How to Apply and What to Provide

  1. Sign in to the user dashboard, find the order you want reviewed, and check its payment time, amount, and payment method.
  2. Go to the support ticket page, clearly state that you’re requesting a refund, and include your username, order number, and the related payment record.
  3. If more information is needed, reply in the original ticket. You can redact details from the payment receipt that aren’t related to the order, but leave the transaction information needed for verification visible.

No email address is required to create an account; you only need a username and password. Refund requests are handled through support tickets in your account. Never share your password, full subscription link, or payment details for another account. If you can’t sign in, check the account information in the Help Center first. Creating another account may make it harder to verify which account owns the order.

Refunds to the Original Payment Method

Refunds for Alipay and WeChat Pay are generally returned to the original payment method. Check the payment provider’s transaction records to see where the refund was credited. If the provider doesn’t support a direct refund or the original transaction has an unusual status, explain the issue in a support ticket so we can review the available options. You won’t be asked to pay an additional fee.

Refunds for USDT transfers are handled differently from refunds through payment providers. The original sending address may not be able to receive a refund, especially when the transfer was made through an exchange. Before processing, verify the transfer record, network, and recipient details in a support ticket. The amount and any handling details must be confirmed before the refund is sent. Do not post payment details on public pages.

Refund Status and Transaction Records

Request review, order verification, refund initiation, and receipt of funds are separate stages. The time it takes for a refund to arrive depends on the payment provider, transaction status, or network confirmations; this policy does not guarantee a fixed processing time. Once you’re notified that a refund has been initiated, check the original payment records as well as your account balance.

If the refund hasn’t appeared yet, reply in the original ticket with the current payment status and ask us to check the refund receipt or transaction record. Submitting duplicate requests won’t speed up processing by the payment provider. Once a refund is complete, the benefits associated with that order will be adjusted accordingly. If the records don’t match the amount received, keep using the original ticket so we can trace the same order.
